PJSC "Zhytomyr-Auto" has been part of the "UkrAuto" Corporation since 1993 and is the largest car center in the Zhytomyr region.

The history of the "UkrAuto" Corporation begins in 1969, when the Main Department for Car Maintenance and Repair was created. In 1989, the Department was reorganized into the Ukrainian rental production association Avtoservice, which already included 25 regional enterprises, 7 regional centers, 28 service stations, and 90 car stores. Global changes in the structure of the Ukrainian automotive giant in 1992 led to the creation of the Open Joint Stock Company "Ukrainian Automobile Corporation", better known by its abbreviated name – "UkrAuto" Corporation. Today, the "UkrAuto" Corporation is a large holding company with various areas of activity. It includes the most powerful car plant in Ukraine, the Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant (ZAZ), 4 plants for the production of automotive units and components, about 400 service centers, car showrooms, spare parts stores, 6 large wholesale and retail warehouses, and insurance companies. All this allows the Corporation to rightfully hold a leading position in the Ukrainian car market for a long period.
