The history of PJSC "Donetsk-Auto" dates back to 1969, when the enterprise was called the association "Donetskavtotehobsluzhivanie". Until 1972, the management of service stations located in Donetsk and Luhansk regions was carried out from Donetsk, but the growth in the volume of services and the number of enterprises led to the division of management by region. In the initial period, the stations operated in unsuitable buildings — old garages.

Now these are large service stations with 10–50 bays, located on main regional highways in places convenient for customers. PJSC "Donetsk-Auto" includes 21 service stations, creating 500 jobs. The company is headed by General Director Suslov Igor Ivanovich, whose professionalism and determination have ensured the enterprise leading positions in Ukraine in terms of economic indicators.

The network covers the entire Donetsk region. Stations operate in large industrial cities and district centers to bring service closer to consumers. As 38 years ago, the main areas of activity remain unchanged:

• sale of spare parts, auto products and accessories;
• provision of service services.

Despite the political and economic instability of the last decade, PJSC "Donetsk-Auto" has not only preserved its production base, qualified specialists and reputation as a reliable partner, but also carried out technical re-equipment, purchasing modern equipment and technologies. Thus, the company remains one of the leaders in the car service market of the Donetsk region.

The production potential of the association — more than 200 car spaces — is equipped with high-tech equipment: wheel alignment stands, tire fitting and balancing stands, lifts, instrumental control lines and diagnostic devices. The introduction of precise equipment has changed approaches to repair: subjective methods have been replaced by instrumental control. Instead of auto mechanics, auto mechanics now work who understand the structure of the car, know how to use a computer, know software and algorithms for troubleshooting.

PJSC "Donetsk-Auto" has been cooperating with the Zaporizhzhia plant since April 1976. In 1998, the company received the status of an official representative of cars of ZAO "ZAZ". As part of the "UkrAvto" Corporation, which owns ZAO "ZAZ", the enterprise develops cooperation and participates in the formation of a unified corporate style. "Donetsk-Auto" car dealerships present the entire model range of OPEL, Chevrolet, ZAZ, Kia, Chery, VAZ, as well as commercial vehicles JAC, TATA and I-Van.

Based on the results of 2006, PJSC "Donetsk-Auto" was recognized as the "Best seller of Lanos cars" in Ukraine.
