Porsche is going to file a lawsuit against the Chinese brand Zotye, which has announced the T700 crossover. The German company, like us, has no doubt that they are looking at a copy of the Macan model. This information was confirmed to Automobil-Produktion by representatives of Porsche's press service.
However, the German manufacturer has little chance of winning the case. This is confirmed by the failed attempt of Land Rover to prove the similarity between the Evoque and Landwind E32. The reason is that Chinese copyright laws are still poorly developed.
It is worth noting that in the Chinese market, the Zotye T700 will be sold for about 27.4 thousand dollars, while the starting price of the Porsche Macan in China is 90 thousand dollars.
