After all, Germany is home to some of the most advanced and renowned car manufacturers. Therefore, it is not surprising that year after year Germans choose cars of their own production.
But, according to the latest research by the German Automobile Club ADAC, this time the victory was won not by a German brand.
Thus, for the first time in the history of the annual surveys on the most popular cars in Germany, the majority of the 20 thousand respondents voted for Volvo.

In terms of driving qualities, safety, comfort, and many other parameters, German motorists awarded Volvo first place. And they named the Volvo XC60 as their favorite model.
As for the traditionally German brands, Audi took second place, and BMW took third. They were followed by Toyota, Honda, and Mazda.
