Drivers did not let a car with a government official pass without waiting in line and simply turned it over. Acting head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov commented on the incident as follows:

“As I was informed yesterday, people turned over the car of a State Duma deputy who tried to bypass the queue. No ranks and service IDs protect against justice prevailing. This, by the way, is an example of how it should be: if you violated, you answer,” said Aksyonov.

The head of the republic also noted that people have been waiting in line for the ferry crossing for 40 hours, and therefore deputies should take up restoring order in this area, including in cooperation with federal ministries.
