The Russian electric car managed to cover 207 kilometers between Krasnodar and Anapa. In parallel with the El Lada, electric Mitsubishi i-MiEV, Nissan Leaf, the American coupe-cabriolet Tropica, and Tesla started.
According to representatives of AvtoVAZ, 60 kilometers before the finish, only the Lada and the Tesla Model S sedan, which we had on a test drive, by the way, did not require recharging.
Recall, the El Lada is built on the Kalina platform, equipped with a 60-kilowatt electric motor and batteries with a capacity of 13 kilowatt-hours. The officially declared range is 150 kilometers. The first private buyer of the VAZ electric car is considered to be the head of the state corporation Rostec, Sergei Chemezov. The El Lada cost him 1.25 million rubles (about 36,500 dollars).
