Last year, the production of Renault-Nissan cars brought the Russian enterprise nine billion rubles, which amounted to 5.14 percent of total revenue. In the first three months of this year, this figure reached 5.7 billion rubles — already 12.58 percent of income.

Currently, the Nissan Almera sedan and the second-generation Renault Logan, belonging to the Renault-Nissan alliance, are assembled at AvtoVAZ's facilities. By the end of the year, the launch of two more models under the Datsun brand is expected — the on-DO sedan and the mi-DO hatchback, with a total planned output of 150 thousand cars.

However, the results of 2013 were unprofitable for the plant: losses amounted to 7.9 billion rubles. The reason was a reduction in demand in the Russian automotive market. The annual revenue of the Togliatti manufacturer reached 177 billion rubles.
