On May 17 in Kyiv, a woman stole a "kopeck" VAZ and crashed it into a gas station. The incident occurred on Volkova Street, not far from the "Lisova" metro station.

As reported by a correspondent of LB.ua, propane began to leak due to the impact, so rescuers from the State Emergency Service and several ambulance teams were called to the scene. Traffic police officers cordoned off the area, not letting anyone through.

Witnesses said that the car thief was apparently drunk: after the accident, she tried to flee, but was detained. The woman was taken to a hospital for a medical examination.
