According to company representatives, the reason for this step was the unstable economic situation. The devaluation of the hryvnia reduced the company's liquidity. At the same time, as a result of the sale, the company expects to receive about 58 million rubles and get rid of losses.
In addition, it should be noted that since the beginning of 2014, OJSC KAMAZ has not delivered a single vehicle to Ukraine.
After the sale of the Ukrainian asset, KAMAZ intends to open a dealer network in Crimea and expand its activities on the peninsula.
